Molón lavé is a turn-based strategy game for Android, published by Brightbuzzer (“we”). This page explains what data the game handles and why. Contact: babis.amsterdam@gmail.com.

Playing without an account

You can play the whole game without an account. Your campaigns, saves and settings (sound, music, motion, hints, language) are stored only on your device and never sent to us.

Leaderboard account (optional)

An account is only needed to appear on the online leaderboard.

• Email and password: your email is used only to sign you in. We do not store your email address: the app turns it into a one-way code on your device, and only that code is kept as your login name. Your password is stored only as a secure hash by our login provider. Because we don’t keep your email, we never send you mail.
• Leaderboard name: the name you choose. Everyone who opens the leaderboard can see it.
• Finished campaigns: when a campaign ends while you are signed in (or the next time you sign in), the app sends its result: difficulty, victory or defeat, your house’s name and title, the turn it ended, territories, prestige, gold, victories and the score. Other players see your best result per difficulty, with your house’s name.

Advertising

The game shows ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID), IP address and app-usage information to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice in the game (Menu → Settings → Ad privacy choices). Where data is stored and who processes it

• Supabase: our database and login provider, which stores your leaderboard account and results.
• Google: AdMob (ads).

We do not sell your personal data. Data sent between the game and these services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Legal basis

We process leaderboard data to provide the leaderboard you signed up for (performance of a contract), and advertising data on the basis of your consent where the law requires it.

How long we keep data

We keep your leaderboard account and results for as long as the account exists. When you delete it, your login, leaderboard name and every result are deleted immediately.

Deleting your account

In the game, open Leaderboard → Account → Delete my account. You can also request deletion without the app. See Delete your Molón lavé account.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, by writing to babis.amsterdam@gmail.com. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority).

Children

Molón lavé is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
